Was perfect for our dog during recovery. She was not bothered by it at all!

Absolutely 5 star customer service .

Having the Lick Sleeve has been great for my dog after his surgery. He has been much easier to deal with than wearing the ‘cone of shame’. It fits well and I would recommend it.
Julia S.
The lick sleeve meant my fur baby didn’t need a cone or soft collar on. The sleeve kept the wound clean. Can’t recommend them enough.
Sharon M.
Lick Sleeve has made life easier, more comfortable as well as a more relaxed dog. Marley (Border Collie) is hyper active & too smart for her own good. She did her left ACL 12 months ago. No lick sleeve, had to use a cone, although tightly secured to a 1" wide leather collar that was almost chocking her, she was able to get her paws behind the collar & wriggle out. Allowing her to reach the wound. 12 months later she did her right ACL. Used the lick sleeve, much more comfortable for her, we don't have to worry about the wound. She is able to sleep, walk(limp) a lot easier this time. Recovery seems to be faster & within 2 days of surgery she was already tapping the ground with the repaired leg. Even her vet was amazed. Can 100% recommend the Lick Sleeve. True to size. Easy to fit, adjust & seems so much more comfortable for Marley. Hope you don't need to use one, but if you do, they work. Easy change from left to right.
Merrit L.
Delivered on time, which was so good. The sleeve is so great, easy to put on and worked as it should. Super happy to be honest!
Victor G.
Very good product. Actually, it is the second we bought for our dog, a compulsive licking boy... Very good, easy to use and very comfortable for our dog. Pity it is not made from steel or titanium (i's a joke) and the first sleeve was destroyed by our Doberman. So now we are using a combination of sleeve + colar.
Debra M.
Very happy we purchased the Lick Sleeve. Millie did not tolerate the head cone and this was a great alternative. She is very comfortable and has not even touched our licked her wound.
Takanori S.
Delivery time is the negative. Otherwise, the product is great.
Jenny K.
The lick sleeve is fantastic. Easy to use and stops the dog from licking the wound. The avoidance of having to use a cone puts your dog at ease. I totally recommend.
James A.
Made life a million times better not needing e collar
Emily M.
Amazing product and sizing chart made it so easy to get the right fit made my dogs TPLO surgery recovery a breeze.
Gabrielle P.
Lick sleeve really saved the day, our german shepherd spent 3 days in an e collar and could not ajust.
The 4th night was a dream, with her sleeve on she slept sound and so did I.
10stars to the lick sleeve.
Zane G.
My dog is a bendy and eager licker. We bought to try protecting her rear leg when a lick wound on it is healing. But she effortlessly slips out of it by rolling back on her haunches. There’s nothing to keep it from sliding off her rump! Disappointing.
Keisha B.
Great quality. Breathable. Stetchy without losing its shape. Easy to pop on and off. Mt dog seems comfortable
He's an airedale terrier and we got him the Large its a good fit not too snug but perfect over his TPLO scar. Love that it's reversible as he's having his other leg done in future.
Scott S.
We got the lick sleeve the day after our Maremma had knee surgery, when she came home and was completely stressed out at the prospect of the Elizabethan collar. Ordered it at 10pm with express shipping, and it was out with the post by 7am the following morning. We would’ve had it within 2 days had AusPost not done what they do best.
She absolutely loves the lick sleeve. It’s so easy to use, and works a treat. Definitely worth the money, and the vet was psyched to see we were using it too!
judith a.
My dog Bella had major knee surgery. The lick sleeve made a big difference to her recovery.
I haven't had to worry about her getting at her wound. She was able to move around, eat, drink and sleep with no issues unlike when my previous dogs have had cones on.
All my animals that have had to wear a cone have been very depressed but Bella is her happy self and barely even knows she got the Sleeve on.
The Lick sleeve is a game changer and highly recommend using one.
Kirsten V.
We bought this for our pup’s upcoming hip replacement. We ordered it on a Friday and it was with us so quickly very early the following week (we paid for express shipping). It was too small for our needs but the customer service team were absolute LEGENDS, sorting it out straight away. So grateful for their help. Thanks all!
Tyson G.
Our 4 year old Border Collie recently got TPLO surgery and is a renowned licker so we bought the lick sleeve. The lick sleeve itself is exceptionally well made and sizing is perfect. (L for 25kg). Very happy with it! The price and the $20 shipping fee (making it approx $150+) is extremely high though, especially considering it was shipped from the same State it was sent.
Grahame B.
Bluey has just had TLPO Surgery and the E collar was driving him crazy. He became very depressed and stopped eating. I searched online for alternatives and came across Lick sleeve. This has brought on a completely different attitude, far more relaxed.
Vicki B.
This was the only thing that worked on keeping our shepherd from getting to his stitches. He also didnt have a problem with wearing it all from day one , highly reccomend and worth the money.
Maureen W.
Much more comfortable than cone. Was easier to take off when toileting. I thought it may be tight but Oscar did not seem to mind it. It worked! No licking
Sandra C.
Hasn’t been the easiest experience but I keep trying every couple of days to put it on my dog successfully. It is her right hind leg that I bought it for. I think I hadn’t realised which way it was worn for a right leg because I couldn’t get the clip to do up without twisting it.
I think I’ve worked it out now and will try again tomorrow - my dog wasn’t keen so didn’t want to push it too much. I have hope that it will work out.
Garry R.
The sleeve saved a heap of grief for both Jess the dog and us.
Best thing ever!!
Lynne S.
The lick sleeve has made such a wonderful improvement for our dog! So easy to use, very comfortable for our dog and he loves the security of it when it’s on.
Kylie T.
Fits perfect very well designed and made
Karen C.
Fantastic product!
Our poor pup has been in a large cone/collar for 12 weeks and this sleeve saved our sanity. Our dog is happy to wear the sleeve and the fit is true to size. Although the product is expensive, it's been worth every cent. Wish we'd found it sooner.
Rachel I.
Great product and very handy for when our husky had a tantrum and ripped off the cone!
Caroline T.
The lick sleeve has been very helpful after our dog's TPLO surgery. It is easy to put on and fits well on the leg. The only issue we've had is that the buckle on the strap tends to slip, so that by the morning the wrap strap is loose and hanging off her back end.
Nicole K.
It is a great product but it keeps sliding off his back which slides down his leg, Just not sure how else to hold it up. I do it as tight as I can without hurting him.And to stop him from weeing on it.
Kimberly T.
It’s a great alternative to the dreaded cone, especially when dealing with a greyhound neck. My dog does not even notice it is on. The only thing that is a little annoying is that we do have to unravel it and go out with him to toilet so he doesn’t pee on it. Otherwise, it does the job really well.
Mandy B.
Fits great we got the size Small- we just shortened it by cutting a bit off the bottom. It's lovely and soft. We managed with just an inflated collar to go with it for the night times (no plastic cone, which our little dog really didn't like). After the first three nights we just used the lick sleeve. Recommend it highly.
Geoffrey C.
My Standard Poodle somehow managed to undo the strap and pull it off his leg.
He must have managed to get hold of the strap across his back and been able to pull it at the necessary angle for the strap to slip through the catch.
Vicki E.
We have applied this lick sleeve to a Police dog and it is working wonderfully! He has stopped licking the lesion on his leg and finally the wound is healing! Amazing product.
Ailsa C W.
Lick sleeve has been so much better than the “cone of shame”. It stops my dog licking on the wound all whilst keeping her comfortable. A great product. Thank you
Simon C.
Great product, had no idea anything existed like this.
Made a massive difference for our dogs comfort while recovering from surgery and he was much more relaxed than wearing a traditional cone.
Wound still healed really well. Thanks so much!!!
Nic M.
Bought this for our elderly greyhound who has a chronic wound and eats his dressings if left unattended for a moment. The Lick sleeve has been a godsend and his dressing stays intact. The Vet was very impressed with it also.
Elizabeth W.
The Lick Sleeve absolutely saved our sanity.
Our dog Maggie had a TPLO and the dreaded cone was a nightmare for her and for us.
We tried an inflatable collar, but that was so uncomfortable for her too.
I was sceptical about the Lick sleeve, but was getting desperate, so I thought we would give it a go.
It was a game changer, Maggie could sleep comfortably and we could relax knowing she could not get to the wound.
The material is soft, yet protective.
I'm not sure if the Lick Sleeve would stand up to a dog that is a chewer, luckily Maggie isn't.
I would highly recommend this product.
Maggie is a 34kg labrador and we purchased the large size
Angie C.
It was definitely much better than the Edwardian cone option! It was a bit loose fitting due to my dog being in between sizes. I would definitely recommend this for pet owners post surgery.
Andrew J.
It works really well when she licks, but we found in the first week after surgery that she was chewing on the stitches and so had to put her collar on overnight when we weren’t watching her
Marika C.
Perfect alternative to the cone for my dog while recovering after TPLO surgery! Made well, fits great & stopped my dog from being able to lick the incision.
Marika
Perfect, fits well & stops dog licking wound.
James H.
The fit and material is fantastic and our dog allowed us to put it on when we needed to.
However she managed to get through the material in about 36 from first putting it on creating a hole allowing her to get to her wound.
Great concept but maybe needs to be of a different material or reenforced in potential high risk areas of the leg.
Lee B.
Worked well, only criticism is that the fabric is very stretchy and has to be adjusted frequently. It also tends to rub under the belly if worn for an extended period
Jessamy C.
We love the sleeve as an alternative to the Elizabethan collar but our girl can get herself out of it so we can only use it when we're with her. So much more comfortable than the cone for her though.
David M.
Size wasn’t quite right. Did as you suggested and cut leg of sleeve to make fit better. The strap that wrapped around kept falling to the back of the dog and fell of after an hour or so. It’s a great idea but I think you could improve further by ensuring the strap does slip off the back off the dog. Love the idea.
Caro W.
The lick sleeve is good while the dog is supervised, but not a substitute for an elizabethan collar.
A H.
I would buy one again in a heartbeat. Our girl is a 2 yr old Maremma rescue, she had previously been injured- femoral head ostectomy (other back leg) - abuse etc, and has always been adverse to ANY attention to her rear. The licksleeve went on 3 days after she had a plate inserted because of a ruptured cruciate ligament, No issues at all, its like its not even there, no licking, no trying to remove it, wears it 24/7, unless being massaged.
Paul M.
Dog was way happier with this rather than the collar. Worked a treat.
Nick D.
Great in dogs that do not have a tendancy to chew at bandages. Comfortable and easy to clean.
Recent male dog the owner had problems with the support over the top slipping towards the tail. They suggested would hold better if two applied to opposite hind legs. Suggested may hold better in females.
Nick D.
Good in dogs that do not like to chew off bandage materials etc. Easy to clean.
Anna M.
Very easy to use & great for aftercare of cruciate surgery, Much better tolerated the classic E collar :)
Jo S.
We haven't had a patient to use them on yet, but we like the look!
Susanne N.
The leg sleeve has been great . Saved her having to wear a cone and she has been very comfy tom wear this, Suggest you offer in other colors rather then just grey.
Thanks
Wendy B.
Easy to use, dogs tolerate well
James I.
Awesome product. So easy to use - will definitely recommend to our clients :)
Nicola G.
This is great for our dog post surgery as he really does not like the Elizabethan collar, with the lick sleeve on we are confident he cannot lick his wound and he is able to get around and relax much easier.
Barbara C.
My dog has had 2 lots of leg surgery in the past month. The first procedure did not work.
I think you need to spend more time with vet practices to educate them how good the lick sleeve is for the dogs metal health instead of the collar of shame that they use's? They want to use for eight week after surgery it would send a dog mad.
I asked last practice to put it on after surgery and the vet nurse didn’t know how to use it and never heard about it?
If a person is going to spend $10000 on their pet it should pet part of their care plan.
Iris B.
The lick sleeve was definitely worth it as my girl was a contortionist and could just get to her knee, even with the cone on. This gives some peace of mind that she won’t infect the wound by licking it with the added bonus of keeping her leg warm after all her fur was shaved off for surgery. The design made it comfortable for her to wear and for me to put on.
Mercedes B.
I wish I’d have bought it earlier! It fits so well & has kept her from licking herself. I should have bought a pair! I certainly recommend getting one instead of the collar of shame!
Barbara J.
Amazing! Thank you. No comparison to the ‘Cone of Shame’. Comfortable, soft material. Not annoying at all. Very easy to put on and secure. Thanks again.
Anna G.
It’s fabulous, so much better than the ‘collar of shame’. At first I did think that the sleeve was too tight but it did stretch after 24hrs. It’s really well made, adjustable and can be used for left or right legs, it also allowed easy access to my dogs wound post surgery to check all was well. She was very comfortable wearing it and I really don’t understand why more vets don’t stock it
Lisa J.
We recently purchased a lick sleeve for our Groodle who is recovering from TPLO surgery, and we couldn’t be happier with the product. After doing some research, we came across this sleeve—and thank goodness we did! It’s been a total game-changer for his recovery.
Honestly, I wish more vets kept these in stock or even recommended them. It would save so many pet owners the hassle of trial and error during an already stressful time. Highly recommend to anyone going through the TPLO recovery process with their dog—it’s worth every cent!
Thanks
Lisa

Love the lick sleeve for my dog.
My dog just had her second TPLO operation in 4 months. For the first op we used the cone of shame, the second we used the lick sleeve which was so much more comfortable for her. The wound was clean and has healed really well.
This product was well worth the price.
Diana M.
Our Dalmatian Leslie had to have surgery on his cruciate ligament, and he absolutely hated the cone. He was miserable with it on, so we gave the Licky Sleeve a go — and honestly, it was amazing. He was so much more comfortable, the sleeve stayed in place, and his scar healed really well. It made a stressful time way easier, and we’re so glad we found it.
Alison S.
Beats the Cone of Shame anyday!
Worked a treat on our cairn terrier.
Lynette N.
Very good, Better than the cone any day.
Catherine H.
It’s a really great product. So much better than having to use a neck cone! It’s very well made, the fabric is nice and soft and fab that it can be washed and reused. The measurements were pretty accurate, my only issue was that after a few days the fabric stretched a bit and my dog managed to get it off by dragging herself along the ground and pulling it off her waist but my dog is a bit of a drama queen like that! So just keep that in mind with sizing. Otherwise definitely worth it - and fast postage too.
Sandrine P.
It has been a much easier experience compared to what we would have experienced with this young lady. She is a highly anxious Bernese who would have chewed an Elizabethan collar or 10.
Although, she has now chewed through one sleeve; we have been with her for a week 24/7, only 1hr away from her and she did it. However, she didn’t lick the wound.
Having a spare ready to go was a good decision. The sleeve stood the test of the chewing though; excellent strength to resist this assault :) she chewed the buckle.
We are grateful to have going this product to help reduce an already traumatising situation as is a TPLO operation. It truely has supported her recovery. Thank you
Sandrine
Anne D.
the lick sleeve worked so well, my boxer boy had ACL surgery and I wasn't going to put him through wearing a cone. it was great to stop him licking his wound and it offered support.
Emmy M.
This was an excellent option to support our dog post knee surgery. It helped so much to protect the wound when it was healing. She was totally un phased by the sleeve although she still was able to lick it, possibly causing some friction, no damage was done. We were also super grateful that it arrived within a couple of days, just in time for her surgery.
A very practical and (going by all the compliments she received) stylish alternative to a cone.
MS S.
It doesnt work we came down in the morning and it was no longer on dogs leg. No good.
Anne C.
I fist saw the licksleeve when our floof had her first tpl surgery but didn't have time to order one. This time with her second tpl,we did and it's been an absolute game changer. So much more comfortable for her and much less stress for us. Love the lick sleeve.
Isobel B.
Its really good and does the job if you can keep it on the dog. I FEEL IT NEEDS SOME SORT OF FRONT BRACE. Our dog managed (by Rolling) to move it over his bum but other than that it id great and does the job as long as I keep an eye on him
Christiana E.
Gave it 4 stars because it is almost perfect! Our 4 yo female GSD dog had TPLO surgery 2 years ago and I made her a compression leg sleeve myself so when she had a second surgery recently, I thought I’d get her a properly made one. I love the lick sleeve and that it can be used on either leg. The only issue we have is that it falls off her rear as her back slopes toward the tail and so we have to constantly readjust the clip. The clip is also very hard and annoys her as it sits right on her hip bone. I have found a way to manage this issue by first applying an elastic compression band around her waist (it’s about 15-20cm) wide with an extra then the lick sleeve and then I fold the end of the compression back over the lick sleeve buckle which keeps it from rubbing as much. My feedback would be to have a wider strap for dogs that have a slightly sloped rear and to add so sort of padding under the buckle so it doesn’t cause pressure injury on bony parts. Alternatively Velcro would be great- we also have a cruciate wrap sleep which is great and it wraps around the same but adheres well with Velcro. Still highly recommended lick sleeve as it eliminates the cone of shame and provides one less stress factor to dogs post surgery.
Sarah M.
Our 11yr greyhound managed to cut her back knee. She kept licking it and it became infected. We put a head cone on which she hates. When we found these lick sleeves we were very happy. She was much happier not having to wear the head cone. She managed to get the lick sleeve off during the night so we put the head cone on at night or if we leave her alone for a long period of time. The lick sleeve was also great for keeping her wound clean for when she went outside etc. great invention and very happy with this product. Thankyou ❤️
Sue R.
It served its purpose, altho my Akita could slip it off his leg, i have no idea how , altho he does have silky fur.
Sarah W.
Highly recommend! my fur baby didn’t have to wear the cone because of this .such a life saver
Kerry E.
Excellent quality and does exactly what is described
Carolyn H.
The lick sleeve has been a godsend for our greyhound, Storm. She licks everything and freezes when the cone goes on. Despite a different build from most breeds, the sleeve works really well and she enjoys having it on.
Mattias S.
Amazing product, comfortable dog and happy customer. Highly recommend!
Suzanne M.
My little Jack Russell had cruciate ligament surgery. He figured out how to lick his wound whilst wearing a cone, then a bigger cone - and a lick granuloma formed. The lick sleeve was awesome. No cone and no licking - wish I had bought it earlier.
Jayne A.
Our precious 10 year old fur baby has not yet had
his crucial ligament surgery, but purchased the lick sleeve knowing that it will be much less stressful that he is not needing to have a collar.
Thank you for creating such a great product which I am surprised is not sold at all Veterinary surgeons.
Rachelle T.
Our Labrador had a TPLO and the Lick Sleeve works a treat. Thanks for creating it!
Mel M.
Love this product! My dog Hank had an operation on the same leg a few years back and I wish we had the lick sleeve. He hated the cone and we couldn’t leave him even for a few minutes to make sure he didn’t get to his stitches.
This time around was a breeze! We actually could get sleep as he was comfortable and could leave him for a few hour’s as we knew he was protected. As you can see from the pictures he wasn’t bothered by it at all.
I wish vets recommended this product rather than a cone.
garry s.
Works great. Dog just leaves it alone as the material quality and type is nonabrasive. Easy to clean and light weight. Could do with another strap to tie it to collar at top, so that it is not accidently removed when dog rolls on back and wriggles about.
Also; select a different transport company to expedite delivery.
Dorota s.
I do not have to worry about my dog's stitches after knee surgery. The dog doesn't mind at all that she has a "cover" on her leg-
the stitches on the wound are dry.
Shelley W.
Our four year old Aussie Bulldog rescue girl had to have TPLO surgery last week and this has been a fabulous find!
Easy to fit, great breathable fabric which is easy to wash and supee quick to dry too.
One week check up and the leg is healing wonderfully.
recommended!
Stella N.
The Luck Sleeve is great! It does exactly what it is supposed to. The materials are of highest quality. The only issue we had was the leg length. I know it says to cut it, but we were worried about fraying, or stitching coming apart.
We will be using it again in a few weeks, as our furbaby needs TPLO surgery in her other leg as well.
Karen H.
Absolutely perfect for my neo mastiff after ACL surgery. This was important to stop her licking and therefore she didn't need head cone which in my experience only stresses dogs and cats out more as they walk into walls and cannot eat or drink easily. Hundred percent recommend
Aaron R.
My only regret was not having the day of surgery. Life was so much better after it arrived.
Michael G.
The sleeve was so much easier on my dog than even a soft "Zen Collar" and more effective than an inflatable collar. He's a cocker spaniel and the injury was a rear leg. But your telephone customer service after I made an error in my order deserves the highest praise of all.
Linda H.
Our Golden Retriever had to have her ACL repaired recently. In lieu of the cone around her neck, she wore the lick sleeve. We, including our Golden, couldn't be happier!
Nancy P.
This product is a great idea! Our 4 year old Bichon Friese had a CCL on right rear leg. We alternate between wearing the cone and wearing the lick sleeve.
One suggestion for improvement is the removing the logo on the leg and putting it on the wider wrap around. The logo rubs on her incision and bugs her.
Next improvement is making this more affordable, and not requiring expensive Fed Ex shipping!
Carol C.
My girl had surgery for a torn ACL last week. She wears the kick sleeve at night (we are able to watch her during the day). Her incision looks great! No licking during the night!
Leah K.
The lick sleeve has worked so well for our PWD Snoopy. His cut is finally healing. It washes well too!
